Roselyn has a black
7-foot Steinway Grand piano that she uses during the voice lessons.
Lessons are offered each afternoon. They are usually one-half hour
long but are sometimes longer. Fees are very reasonable.
The lesson begins with discussion about the previous week, warm-up exercises, and a review of songs in progress. The student is encouraged to assist in the song choices that they will work on. Students are accepted from ages 7 through adult. The voice is analyzed for pitch, timber, and age development. Range is extended upward through practice exercises. Karaoke songs are often used for accompaniment. Auditioning is encouraged. Assistance is given for what to wear to auditions and for costuming. |

| Her students are encouraged to become "triple-threats" -- experienced singers, actors and dancers. Many of them have additional skills also, such as: fencing, ice skating, tap dancing, voiceovers, guitar, piano, modeling, film acting, stage acting, etc. Each student learns their own respective National Anthem and other songs from their ethnic heritage. | ||
| Her singers have won numerous awards in the region for stage and film performances. They have performed at The Little Theater of Gastonia, Theater Charlotte, Matthews Playhouse, Children's Theater at Imaginon, The Northwest School of the Arts, Belk Theater, The Central Academy of Technology and Arts (in Union County) and in Mexico City. | ||
