The Langley Studio of Voice provides a unique program for singers by training for auditions, stage, concert, choral and solo work. Classes and showcases prepare the student for an experienced level of singing. This training not only gives the singer the technical skill for good singing, but confidence knowing they are prepared for auditions and for the theatrical stage. Owner/director of The Langley Studio of Voice, Roselyn Langley has been singing and coaching for over thirty years. She has a Bachelor’s of Music from UNC-Chapel Hill (UNC-Ch) and a Masters in Vocal Performance from Converse College. Her post graduate studies included renowned teachers in the US and Italy, as well as studying at the Akademie der Musik, Vienna, Austria. She is the founder of the Wandering Minstrels -- a Dickensian singing ensemble. She has coordinated the music for Festa Italiana, an Italian festival in Charlotte. In 2005 she taught singing in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has been the Vocal Adjudicator at the International Cinderella Competition in Las Vegas. A former vocal teacher at UNC-Ch, she opened the Langley Studio of Voice over 30 years ago. |
